Considering it's my gallery highlight... I have no idea how you missed it lol. I knew if I didn't point you towards it you would never notice it. It's just another of my pieces that goes unloved. I just don't get how Eklypz gets so much attention (that ISN'T from me mind you) and Kamavirya doesn't. I just plain don't get it lol.
And no... the pointy ears do not make him an Elf as his claws, and the claws of his child, should point out. LOL. He's a hamster. Plain and simple.
Okay, in all fairness, I saw it on your page a million times... I just never realized until now that I hadn't faved it or commented on it Sadly, hamsters get overlooked so easily, I'm afraid
And sat on lol. It's alright, it's just one of those pieces that seems to have SO much work put into the image, for no one to notice it *shrug* it seemes to happen with all the images I put my hardest work and my heart into-- unless they happen to be of Eklypz. THOSE get noticed... though that is probably because it's based on Ville Valo.
Success in just about any venue is 10% talent and 90% marketing... Sad, but true. Perhaps this sort of image just needs to get more exposure to more people... Hmmmmmmm.....
Mmm sadly that is true. I don't get it though... Ekky wasn't pimped out either and yet -- TADA... than again Kamavirya has been a character around at least 6 months longer, but undesigned up until after the creation of Eklypz. That might have something to do with it. I mean, I had a general idea for him, but not anything set. Kamavirya, aka Fluffy, is actually originally ~SanariSebuna's character, which I built upon. The reason I think it ended up with me is I didn't like only calling him Fluffy, and then we paired him with one of the other characters, which is also her character. And because it is rather hard to play both sides of a couple, it just sort of happened. Also Kamavirya is the serious no laughing side of the couple when his mate is actually very playful... so it balances out for each of them.
Wonderful job on the satin painting
I should have just written "cool and awesome" since that about covers it
How in the world did I miss this from way back in January??
And no... the pointy ears do not make him an Elf as his claws, and the claws of his child, should point out. LOL. He's a hamster. Plain and simple.
...and yes I said hamster.
But I'm happy you like it.
